New Features and Enhancements
[Ref. #KX-15650] This version provides full support for virtual machines, a feature that was not available in v14.1.
[Ref. #KX-14664] Increase virtual inputs from 256 to 512.
[Ref. #KX-15618 & #KX-15633] New security patches have been implemented to enhance the system’s resilience.
[Ref. #KX-15385] A SSL certificate mechanism has been integrated into xAdmin to support systems that require secure browsing. Instructions on how to enable this feature have been included in the User Manual.
[Ref. #KX-15012] The handling of HLS audio-only streams has been improved and is now supported on Kaleido IP.
Bugs Fixed
[Ref. #KX-15376] The minimum video memory that is required to run KIP VM was increased to fit Ubuntu 20 requirements.
[Ref. #KX-15649] The stability of the Closed Captions 608 format has been enhanced.
The issue regarding the display of CEA-708 Service Closed Captions has been successfully resolved. KIP no longer [Ref. #KX-15386] experiences any problems with this format.
[Ref. #KX-15058] The functionality of Audio Silence alarms has been enhanced to ensure that Audio Bars are displayed accurately for left, right and center channels.
